Hello it has been a while. FIL is back at girlfriends( happy dance). Work is beginning to pick up (I am working more than 20 hrs a week). I just found a period shelter for SCA to be our first period starter. It is an A frame starter but it is period.

Starter gear of any sort is a good thing, IMNSHO. You gotta start somewhere and, even if it doesn't work out, you learn something or have an amusing story to tell about it.

I will have to tell you guys about the 'bowing tent' sometime. It really pleased royalty to have a tent 'bow' as they walked by.
